Wallabies Room News – July 2014

Throughout the month of July we have been focusing on the Alphabet. We have been doing a variety of activities around the alphabet such as letter printing and pastings. This allows us to extend on our literacy skills.

We have had a few items of clothing go missing in the past couple of weeks so we please ask if you could label all items of clothing and to bring back any clothes that may have been mistakenly been put into your child’s bag.

This month we have had a lot of birthdays! We would like to wish Tom, Sienna, Fred, Jack and Chase a big happy birthday for the month of July. We hope you all had the best day. Just a reminder if you would like to bring in a cake it has to be egg and nut free. We recommended bringing in ice cream cake for that reason. However if you do not wish to bring one in we can always make cupcakes for the children.

We would love to get some feedback from families around the program and about your child’s interests. If we have a better understanding of your child’s interest we can try to cater to that interest so your child can have the best time at crèche.
