Recipe of the Month – Marinated Chicken Wrap

At Jenny’s ELC, we love provided healthy and nutritious snacks for our little cherubs! Today’s recipe is marinated chicken wraps. These marinated chicken wraps are a centre favourite, so try them for dinner at your house tonight!

Including chicken in your child’s diet is very important. Many children have insufficient intakes of omega-3, and chicken is a delicious and valuable source of omega-3. 2x chicken breasts diced
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp crushed ginger
Lettuce sliced
Tomato sliced
Carrot grated
Cucumber sliced
Cheese grated
Soy mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise (you could also use sour cream)
1 pkt mission wholemeal wraps


  1. Marinate chicken for 1 hour in soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, garlic and ginger.
  2. Prepare all other ingredients and serve separately on serving platter.
  3. Cook children until cooked through.
  4. Take your wrap and smear with mayonnaise, assemble your wrap with chicken and any other ingredients that takes your fancy and ENJOY!
