Parent – Teacher interviews

We conducted interviews with families during the middle of March and have had lots of wonderful feedback about the success of these and it was a great way for families to really engage with the staff in their child’s room and see what wonderful learning and engagement is happening at our centre.

We are excited to also have several staff returning from Maternity leave this year including, Jessica Harrison, Jessica May and Caitlin Davies. As well as staff returning we are excited to welcome 3 new staff to the centre – Kellie Stumpe, Jordyn Marsh and Jessica Nelson will also join our amazing Maiden Gully team in the coming weeks.

Our new yards are complete and the children are all so excited to be able to get outside and explore our fantastic natural environment. Definitely the most popular space in the over 3 yard would be the ….swings. Educators are working extremely hard to ensure that everyone has a turn. I think we will enjoy watching the children learn to swing themselves over the coming months as this is such a wonderful achievement for children of all ages.

In the coming weeks we will continue with our renovations, next will be the office. During this period the staff will work from the planning room and rest assured there will be minimal disruption to the day to day running of the service.
