We have been getting in touch with our Australian Heritage and we love this recipe for wattle seed damper!
3 cups wholemeal self raising flour
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon wattle seed
½ cup water
Preheat oven to 180
Add dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix well
Add water gradually until a smooth dough is formed
Knead on a floured board until elastic
Place on a tray and bake in the oven till brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Serve warm with butter and honey
