At Jenny’s ELC, we love provided healthy and nutritious snacks for our little cherubs! Today’s recipe is marinated chicken wraps. These marinated chicken wraps are a centre favourite, so try them for dinner at your house tonight!
Including chicken in your child’s diet is very important. Many children have insufficient intakes of omega-3, and chicken is a delicious and valuable source of omega-3. 2x chicken breasts diced
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp crushed ginger
Soy mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise (you could also use sour cream)
1 pkt mission wholemeal wraps
- Marinate chicken for 1 hour in soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, garlic and ginger.
- Prepare all other ingredients and serve separately on serving platter.
- Cook children until cooked through.
- Take your wrap and smear with mayonnaise, assemble your wrap with chicken and any other ingredients that takes your fancy and ENJOY!
